    1. Introduction and Acceptance of Terms

    Welcome to Bees Moving ST. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website (https://beesmovingst.com/) and the professional relocation services we provide. By booking a move, requesting an estimate, or using our site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

    As a premier Massachusetts Moving Company, we operate in compliance with state and federal regulations to ensure a safe and professional experience for every client.

    2. Description of Services

    Bees Moving ST provides comprehensive Moving Services, including but not limited to:

    • Local residential and apartment moving.
    • Long-distance and interstate relocations.
    • Commercial and office transitions.
    • Professional packing, crating, and labor-only assistance.

    All services are officially documented via a Bill of Lading, which serves as the contract between the carrier and the shipper.

    3. Booking and Estimates

    To provide an accurate quote, we rely on the information provided by the customer regarding the volume of goods, access points (stairs/elevators), and specialty items.

    • Binding Estimates: Guaranteed price for the items listed on the inventory at the time of the quote.
    • Non-Binding Estimates: A “best guess” based on the estimated weight or hours; the final price will reflect the actual work performed.
    • Inventory Changes: Any items added on the day of the move that were not in the original estimate will result in an adjustment to the final cost.

    4. Payment Terms and Billing

    Transparency in billing is a core value at Bees Moving ST. Before your move, please View Moving Costs for a general overview of our rates.

    • Deposit: A security deposit is required to reserve your moving date. This deposit is applied toward your final balance.
    • Accepted Methods: We accept Cash, Major Credit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, AMEX), and Certified Checks. Please note that credit card transactions may be subject to a standard processing fee.
    • Final Payment: According to industry standards, final payment for local moves is due upon completion of the service. For long-distance moves, payment is typically required prior to unloading at the destination.

    5. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

    We understand that plans change. To maintain our schedule and provide fair availability to all clients, we enforce the following:

    • Standard Cancellation: Cancellations made at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled move date are eligible for a full refund of the deposit.
    • Late Cancellation: Cancellations made within less than 72 hours of the move date may result in a forfeiture of the deposit.
    • Rescheduling: We allow one free rescheduling request if made 72 hours in advance, subject to our current availability.

    6. Customer Responsibilities

    To ensure a swift move, customers are responsible for:

    • Parking & Access: Securing parking permits or loading zone access for the moving truck at both locations.
    • Preparation: Ensuring all items are packed (unless packing services are booked) and appliances are disconnected.
    • Presence: A person aged 18 or older must be present at all times during the loading and unloading process to sign the inventory and Bill of Lading.

    7. Liability and Cargo Protection (Insurance)

    As a licensed carrier, we offer two levels of protection for your belongings:

    1. Released Value Protection (Basic): Provided at no extra cost, this limits our liability to $0.60 per pound per article.
    2. Full Value Protection (FVP): Available for purchase, this option ensures that if an item is lost or damaged, it will be repaired, replaced with a like item, or a cash settlement will be made.
    • Exclusions: We are not liable for the contents of boxes packed by the owner, jewelry, cash, documents, or internal mechanical functions of electronics without evidence of external physical damage.
    • Claims: All claims must be submitted in writing within 15 days of delivery, accompanied by photographic evidence.

    8. Prohibited and Hazardous Items

    For the safety of our crew and your property, we cannot transport:

    • Hazardous Materials: Paints, propane tanks, ammunition, chemicals, or flammable liquids.
    • Perishables: Food items that require refrigeration.
    • Valuables: We strongly recommend that customers transport jewelry, currency, and important legal documents in their own vehicles.

    9. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

    These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. In the event of a dispute, we encourage clients to contact our support team first to reach an amicable solution. Any formal legal proceedings shall be conducted in the courts of Hampden County, MA.

    I had great experience today using Bee’s Moving. They were on time, courteous, friendly and extremely efficient. They handled all my household goods with extreme care. It was 13 degrees when we started this morning and they just kept moving and never stopped! I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs assistance moving. From the very first call to the company, I was impressed. Thank you again for a great job, very well done.

    Excellent experience with Bees Moving Company! The team was very punctual and did an outstanding job. They carefully wrapped all of our furniture in blankets and handled everything with great care. Their rate was good, no extra or hidden fees and they even disassembled and reassembled our bed without any issues. Overall, it was a smooth, stress-free move. Highly recommend!

    We used Bees Moving twice for moving our office. They were great with communication, worked with our schedule, and were extremely nice! We had tons of heavy furniture and tricky items to move but they were fast, efficient, and also very careful with all our items. Alex was lovely, professional, and a great listener. The second time we used the we needed to get rid of a lot of bulk items. They had no problem getting rid of the items for us. I would recommend them to anyone looking to move in MA or CT.

    We had the best moving experience possible with Bee’s! First, they drove to our vacation home 4 hours north in the Adirondacks in heavy snow to pack up our belongings and they arrived with a big smile. They carefully wrapped all our furniture, loaded it, and brought it to 2 locations in Westfield. They are extremely nice, helpful, and go the extra distance to make the customer happy. You will not find a better price! Their original quote was less than local competitors, but after the job, he said it didn’t take as long as he thought, so he lowered the price even more! Their honesty, hard work and great service make them an outstanding choice for moving!

    Bee’s moving was awesome. 2 great guys polite, friendly, on time, fast, and very respectful of all our stuff. Gave us a very fair reasonable price and started and ended right on time. Could not be more pleased with their service. If you need a move would highly recommend these guys.
